| Kevin Goldthwaite announced his retirement from professional soccer on Monday after a seven-year Major League Soccer career. | Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Toronto FC announced that seven players have been put on waivers following the 2011 MLS Expansion draft. Defenders Demitrius Omphroy, Eddy Viator, and Kyle Davies, midfielders Leandre Griffit, Matt Gold, and Gianluca Zavarise, and forward Javier Martina were all waived after being left unprotected ahead of Wednesday's expansion draft. |
